The E-SENSE of Writing

For most people writing poetry, novels, articles, or others alike are definitely boring and such a fritter away of time and effort, well that is unquestionably the outlook of most people who do not appreciate the art of writing in the similar way as writers do. 

What most people do not recognize as regards to writing is that it provides chances for creativity and skills; many people might not comprehend, but inscription could mean a lot to someone or to a group of people who has been using writing for their specific intentions. 

I’ve read a book this morning, it’s actually a true to life story regarding life away from home and the content of the book really lifted up my spirit on how trustworthy writing was to other people as well as to mine. So the story goes like this, two lovers set apart by faith, and writing was the only possible way they could communicate since mobile phones and the Internet are not yet discovered during those times. Every single day the characters would write to each other, telling how their days went by; how they miss each other and how they wish they are together again.

Writing simple love letters has become their strength, and also served as their hope that sooner or later they will be together again; devoid of writing these true to life story will never be a happy ending. That is why, the letters that they have written are kept for a lifetime and the story of their far true love is being thought up-to-present. As for a novice writer like me, writing is not just a source of income; writing is a way to represent myself, my thoughts, my aspirations, and my ideas, everything that signifies my being.

Writing for me is like the mirror of my soul, since not all my thoughts are accessible to all people, I make exploit of writing to express what I feel and think most of the time. Some may find it melodramatic, but writing has been my greatest companion and outlet of emotions for a long time since through it, I get the chance to reach out to other people, express my thoughts and opinions or even share my knowledge of specific subject matter. 

Life is boring devoid of writing because without it, there will be no books, magazines, or newspapers to read. No stories to tell, and no history to teach; everything has to do with writing so for those individuals who find writing and being a writer as a lone field of work then think twice. Because there is more to being a writer as most of people know, since the self fulfillment that writing gives, both come from the heart and the mind. The essence of a specific thing will never be appreciated if the soul and the heart are disclosed to the possibilities that it has to offer; same goes for writing and to be a writer; you will never appreciate something if you only see it in a single perspective.
